Aisthemata is Daniel Tovar, an LA and Chicago-based artist and educator. Most recently, he held a teaching appointment at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Areas of research include Aristotle's ethics, theory of perception, and biology; existentialism; and aesthetics, particularly sound cognition and the relationship between touch and hearing.
